Transparency is fundamental to how we operate. Here you will find our licensing details, disclosure documents, and regulatory obligations.
Intellect Wealth Pty Ltd operates within the Australian financial services regulatory framework under ASIC oversight.
As an AFSL-authorised financial services provider, we are required to provide the following documents before delivering personal financial advice.
The FSG outlines the services we offer, how we are remunerated, how we handle complaints, and the documents you will receive when we provide advice. You will receive this before any advice is given.
When we provide you with personal financial advice, we will issue a Statement of Advice setting out our recommendations, the basis for those recommendations, and the fees payable. You have 28 days to consider the SOA.
When providing further advice after an initial SOA, where your circumstances have not materially changed, we may issue a shorter Record of Advice summarising our updated recommendations.
Where we recommend a financial product (such as a managed fund, insurance policy, or superannuation product), we will provide you with the relevant Product Disclosure Statement from the product issuer.
As a licensed financial services provider, Intellect Wealth Pty Ltd operates under the Corporations Act 2001 and is supervised by ASIC. Our obligations include acting efficiently, honestly, and fairly in all dealings with clients.
We are required to hold adequate professional indemnity insurance, maintain a complaints handling process, and provide clients with access to external dispute resolution through the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).
These are not burdens — they are the framework that ensures you can trust the advice you receive.
We take all complaints seriously. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, here is how you can raise it.
Raise your concern with us first. Contact us at compliance@intellectwealth.com.au or call 0426 522 843. We will acknowledge your complaint within 1 business day and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may refer the matter to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) — a free, independent dispute resolution service.
